Los Angeles, CA – On Monday, March 31, the Leimert Park Music Series returned for its second installment—bringing together a vibrant crowd, electrifying energy, and a deep sense of community in the heart of South Los Angeles. Held at the historic World Stage, the evening was a powerful reminder of the unifying power of music and the importance of supporting rising Black artists.

Presented by 247 Live Culture, the March edition featured live performances from five dynamic Hip-Hop and R&B acts including Ac Wolf, NURD, Pookie Blow, and Deuceworld Each artist brought raw emotion, authenticity, and stage presence, highlighting the deep well of talent that exists within the Los Angeles creative community.

Eboné Chatman, 247LC’s own media correspondent, provided exclusive interviews with the talent and the vibes were set by Sweet Candy Radio, whose curated mix of beats kept the crowd engaged between sets.

Adding to the night’s significance, Duane Finley, respected actor and local entertainment legend, made a special appearance in support of the next generation of talent. His presence underscored the growing cultural weight of the Leimert Park Music Series as a true community cornerstone.

Originally launched in February 2025, the Leimert Park Music Series is a cultural movement dedicated to spotlighting emerging Black artists in a space long known for its artistic and historical importance. Founded in 1989 by jazz drummer Billy Higgins and poet Kamau Daáood, The World Stage continues to be a sanctuary for Black expression across music, literature, and spoken word.

The third installment of the Leimert Park Music Series will take place on Monday, April 28, once again at The World Stage. Doors open at 7:30 PM and the show runs until 10 PM. Tickets are $20 and available now through 247LiveCulture.com and Eventbrite.

Los Angeles, CA – Following an electrifying debut in February, the Leimert Park Music Series is back on Monday, March 31, for another unforgettable night of live Hip-Hop, and R&B at The World Stage in Leimert Park. This cultural movement presented by 247 Live Culture, continues to uplift rising Black artists while honoring the rich musical legacy of Los Angeles’ most historic Black arts district.

Doors open at 7:30 PM, with the show running until 10 PM. Tickets are $20 and available now.

This month’s lineup features five dynamic artists set to take the stage including rapper Ac Wolf, R&B singer NURD, rapper Pookie Blow, R&B singer Zani Vie, and rapper Deuceworld.

Adding to the experience, Sweet Candy Radio will be spinning the vibes throughout the night, while 247LC Media Correspondent Eboné Chatman will host the evening, bringing energy and charisma to the stage.

The Leimert Park Music Series was founded to provide a consistent platform for emerging Black artists, showcasing authentic talent in a space deeply rooted in the history of jazz, hip-hop, soul, and spoken word. The World Stage, founded in 1989, has long been a hub for cultural expression and continues to serve as a home for creative excellence.
