About 247 Live Culture Magazine (247LC)

247 Live Culture Enterprises is a global media and entertainment company based in Los Angeles, committed to redefining how Black culture is represented and celebrated across the world. Founded in 2018 by entrepreneur Omar Cook, 247 Live Culture was born out of a need to challenge the negative, low-vibrational imagery often perpetuated by mainstream media. Our mission is to uplift, enlighten, and empower by telling stories that matter—authentic stories that inspire change and reflect the true essence of Black excellence.

At the heart of 247 Live Culture is a powerful multimedia ecosystem. From our 30x award-winning film production company, 247LC Films, to our dynamic podcast network featuring 7 shows centered on truth, motivation, and civic empowerment, we are building a media empire rooted in purpose and integrity. We produce impactful news and positive narratives that inform, educate, and resonate with global audiences. With films directed and produced by Omar Cook and Adonis Armstrong, our films have been seen globally in international film festivals.

Our platform extends beyond the screen. We host community-driven events like the Leimert Park Music Series and the Future Leaders of America Forum, which serve as cultural hubs to spotlight rising talent and spark vital conversations. Our Black-Owned Business Directory connects businesses to conscious consumers, bridging economic opportunity with community growth. We also offer public relations and brand support for music artists, helping creatives amplify their voices and reach broader audiences.

With every story we tell, partnership we form, and life we impact, our vision remains clear: to become the world’s leading Black-owned media company—driving cultural innovation, shaping the future of entertainment, and championing a new era of representation that is bold, beautiful, and unapologetically Black.
